Peters Pipers Inc was founded in March of 2015. while many companies struggle with steady employment, hiring, and firing, inconsistent quality of work, etc….Peters Pipers has a truly unique story that separates this TEAM from its competition. Comprised of relationships that were formed outside the realm of work, the majority of our employees were all raised on Long Island in NY. We have known each other prior to ever being plumbers together. it is a mixed group of family, twins, cousins as well as former co-workers from a mutual plumbing shop we all were employed at prior to moving south. This team is dedicated to working together every day to deliver exactly what our clients want and need. Again… we are NOT salesmen. we are plumbers. we look to install the maximum standard, not the minimum. whether it is a commercial job or residential, we will always finish what we started.
Peters Pipers began out of a home garage in Waxhaw NC, which is still considered home base for estimation operations, and we continue to satisfy residential service calls here every day. Taking on more commercial work, our shop has expanded its reach all over North and South Carolina and Peters Pipers headquarters is now centrally located in Charlotte just north of Pineville.
Meet the people at Peters Pipers
Originally from Long Island NY. I was raised in a plumbing shop, my father Bob Peters owned and operated Paradise Plumbing & Heating. Growing up I leaned at a young age to work hard for the things I wanted. I helped install residential plumbing systems all through high school and transitioned into industrial/commercial work during college years. after earning a bachelors degree in Communications, and spending the next decade in the Long Island Plumbers Local 200 union, I moved to Waxhaw NC in February of 2015 to be closer to my family… and to start a business. Growing this company has been an adventure. Most of my coworkers have been recruited from NY and moved south to form a plumbing team of exceptional skills and unmatched experience. Using knowledge from a life in trades including but not limited to: all phases plumbing, fuel piping, hydronic systems, service work and commitment beyond the usual expectations..of which I recognize has been the foundation for this company’s success. I hold 4 state licenses: NC & SC, NC H1, and NC SP-PH. I plan to keep this company local and hire only the best..k
Originally from Long Island NY, grew up in a white-collar household, my brother and I were taught to work with our hands, mostly woodwork with our father. After college, I was exposed to plumbing from my cousin. He taught me the fundamentals of the trade and ultimately showed me a rewarding career path. After working in a small mom and pop shop located in Queens NY, I eventually landed a more promising career in the plumbing trade with a large union plumbing outfit thanks to John Peters. After 6 months of working alongside John Peters assisting him on tasks both residential and commercial, I was given the opportunity to shadow the VP/service manager of this large plumbing outfit. I was taught a different angle of the plumbing business. I was later presented the position to manage a very highly skilled group of service plumbers, who taught me the importance of teamwork. I later came down to the Carolinas to join John Peters to get back out in the field. I obtained my own plumbing license and currently work with my close family and friends, for that which I’m forever grateful.
Born and raised in Queens New York 1987. My journey as a tradesman began before i was in elementary school. My grandfather owned and operated AAAA Contracting, the name was so he would be the first contracting company listed in the phone book. My grandparents watched me during the day while both of my parents worked. Having no real way to entertain a child, my grandfather put me to work painting and mixing concrete. As the years went on I learned more about contracting and contracting became more of a hobby.
My plumbing career began in 2006 when my uncle asked me to come work for his plumbing company in Forest Hills NewYork for the summer. I continued to work for my uncle part time through college and full-time once i graduated. There I spent years learning the fundamentals of plumbing and heating, then eventually running my own jobs. In 2013 I received an offer to work for a Local 200 plumbing company on the North Shore of Long island New York. I excelled there and was well respected by my peers but i needed more. That call was answered when i received the opportunity work with my friends and family at Peters Pipers Inc. and i couldn’t be happier.
Throughout the years i have worked on plumbing and heating systems for residential and commercial buildings dating back to the early1900’s. I have installed and serviced plumbing and heating systems for residential houses, restaurants, skyscrapers in Manhattan, prisons, hospitals, and schools. I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to so much in the years that i have been plumbing and i only continue to try to learn everyday.
Raised on the sandy south shore of Long Island, NY, I’ve inadvertently (and ironically) become somewhat of a “Jack-of-all-Trades”, one might say, due to my inability to detain myself from dabbling in anything that provokes interest in me. From immersing myself in music at a young age to training as a classical and contemporary actor under scholarship during college years, I naturally became sick of serving tables, and in 2013, somehow ended up with a wrench in my hand – most fortunately – under the guidance of some of the best mechanics in the Tri-State area. As a member of the Local 200 Plumbers Union, I have been exposed to many different types of plumbing systems, throughout residential and commercial settings, from Manhattan to Montauk. Since my time residing and working here in Charlotte, I’ve been involved in building projects from the underground plumbing to tightening up the last faucet before the grand opening, and the experience has been invaluable. Just like my commitment to nurturing my artistic passions, so have I become committed to nurturing my skills as a tradesman. There’s beauty in building with your hands, whether it’s a song or your next bathroom renovation; I strive for the perfect performance. It’s like Shakespeare under your sink!
Grew up in 4 different states but lived along the shores of NJ for the last 18 years of my life. After graduating high school I went off to college for 3 semesters but knew sitting behind a desk wasn’t going to be for me. I went back home and enrolled in culinary school and graduated in 2010. After working as a chef for 8 years and owning my own business I fell out of love for the industry and knew it was time for a career change. Always loving to work with my hands I decided to jump into the construction world. I became a Certified Heavy Equipment Operator in the late spring of 2016. A few months later I was offered a temp position being able to work alongside my father in law for a small family-owned plumbing shop located in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. I worked extremely hard learning as much as I could and it paid off because I was offered a full-time position. I worked for them for 2 years doing mainly repairs in the commercial end all over the 5 boroughs of NYC. After 2 years of commuting over 100 miles and spending 3-4 hours in traffic each direction, I needed a change. My call was answered my Johnny Peters in the summer of 2018. I knew I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work alongside 3 cousins and one of the best plumbers in the trade. I was finally able to make the move to the Charlotte area after the birth of my third child. I am forever grateful to become a part of this exploding company and work alongside some of the most amazing people.

Born in France, Raised in Montreal until I was 6 years old then moved to Queens NY and eventually out to Nassau County Long Island. My first job was at the Navy Exchange. after 9 years of I moved on to become a GM of a steakhouse called McCluskeys. 6 days a week and working nights was not easy. the time away from my family was straining so I decided to take my skills in bookkeeping into a new career. I answered an ad in the Pennysaver for a reputable plumbing company and invested the next 10 years of my life to managing the administration side of a plumbing business. I had the pleasure of working with great people with whom one of them took employment elsewhere and took me with him. I worked in administration for the largest union plumbing company on long island…for the next 15 years. it is here I sharpened my skills in all the areas of managing a successful service plumbing shop. this is where I met Johnny, Christian, and Rob, and had the pleasure of working with these guys before Peters Pipers. Long island was a great home, but the math just didn’t add up. after a year of searching the South, and talks with Johnny, I decided to join peters pipers in January of 2019.
Yes, I am related to Lou Ferrigno…I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and raised in Brooklyn, NY. My father has been the owner of a plumbing business my entire life, so I grew up with my father teaching me the trade while working alongside him on the weekends and during my summer breaks. I worked with my father from the age of 14 to 21, as I got older I began to take on more responsibility in my father’s business. I moved back to Charlotte in February 2018 to work as a supervisor in a pharmaceutical equipment warehouse. Through a family friend, I was told about Peters Pipers Inc. and was fortunate to start working with this company in early 2019.
Born and raised in the South, Charlotte N.C to be specific. I started my trade as a plumber in 1995 with a residential plumbing company located in Matthews N.C. Dedicating myself to hands-on training from a licensed plumber whose first thing he taught me was to do every job as if it was your own. I soon was given the position of truck foreman. I worked there for 13 years mostly plumbing custom houses which ranged from $250,000 to over a million dollars, so I got to see and install just about anything you could imagine in homes where expense had no limits. I then went to work with a commercial company out of Charlotte where I was given my own project. As the plumbing supervisor, I was in charge of ordering materials, planning and delegating work to plumbing crews, meetings with project managers and other trade supervisors to make sure every part of the job ran smoothly. Pre-inspecting completed work before county inspectors arrived checking quality of work and assuring no code violations to pass county inspection and addressing any warranty issues after the owner took possession. I then went into service work where I worked for several years with two different service companies. I enjoyed meeting people and made a lot of friends helping them resolve their plumbing issues from a leaking toilet to a total re-piping and everything in between. An injury took me away from plumbing for a while, when I healed and was ready to return to work, I met Johnny Peters through a mutual friend. He was in need of an excavator operator for a restaurant his company was starting. After working as a subcontractor for Johnny doing his excavating and meeting and working with the other guys at Peters Pipers, I knew this is the company and the people I wanted to be a part of. It’s hard to find people with high morals and great ethics these days but I was able to find a whole company with those qualities. I am very proud to be part of Peters Pipers Inc.
Born in Uganda on the 7th of Aug 1977, from a family of 9 and a single mother. My father was a victim of unjust violence leaving my mother widowed to raise 9 kids.
I was taught from a very early age that self-respect, being humble, hard work, listening and never settling for less was the best philosophy of life and that’s what defines who I am today. My journey to the United States I must say came as a surprise after I won a lottery in 2014 and its been a learning process thereafter. I will always be grateful to all the people who have seen the good in me and given me a chance. I will always be indebted to Peter Pipers Inc for accepting to take me on as a helper yet with full knowledge that I had no prior plumbing skills. Thank you to all the team who never turn their backs on me but are always willing to teach me how it’s done.
I am a proud family man with a beautiful wife and three children.
